We came back to South Dakota to visit family, and on the Saturday morning of Christmas weekend, my son’s palatal expander became partially disconnected. My son couldn’t eat and was in discomfort. VanLaecken Orthodontics was the closest orthodontist we could find. When we called their emergency number, they immediately picked up and answered our questions. Kacie met us at their office and fixed my son’s orthodontic device. She was so patient and calmed my son’s nerves throughout the entire process.
